5 classes of sentiment classification: very negative, negative, neutral, positive, very positive
So this is my result? I would say that my sentences are semantically very negative. Is this tool understanding my values, my tone, my overall concept in the paragraph I typed in? The makers of this site claim that this tool is now superior in that it understands that a lone word is not a beacon of meaning, yet how often is this challenged? And how are phrases and sentences weighed on a human scale if the scale is an algorithm? Is that considered a scale of deeper understanding? How is it possible for a student of literature to promote this, the designation of one particular sentiment to a sentence, even in context? Is there room for anyone else in such a cold version of a close reading? I am left wondering....
